For those who are interested in Pelican tomatoes I have confirmed that Pelican plants are available at a local nursery in Avoyelles Parish each spring. The seed that they have is for their use only , but plants will be next available next spring. Hope this helps those who are in search of the Pelican tomatoes.

Thanks for the info Yolanda. I've been looking for seeds as I like to start my own plants. If you hear of a source, please post it. Strange, I was about to think that I imagined Pelican tomatoes since when I request information about them, no one seems to know anything about them. I asked our local Parhish ag agent and he was not famaliar with them, but he's a young man, probably too young to remember when this variety was introduced,in the 1970's I think.

Where about in Avoyelles parish? I have in laws in Masura and Marksville. Tell me more about the pelican tomato? I wasn't on line when ya'll were talking about them. I've grown creole tomatos for years but this is the first I'm hearing about pelican tomato. Thanks Brenda NOLA
