| I have a mature pine (50+ ft.) that has once again began to drop sawdust pellets, the tell-tale sign of pine borer infestation. I had the tree treated approximately 16 months ago for the same problem. Then the tree rebounded nicely. But here we are again and this time I am not sure that I want to fight the battle.
Any success or failure stories associated with this pest would be appreciated.
This tree shades my whole backyard, but I don't want a weakened tree hovering over my house when hurricane season starts in earnest.
Any input would be appreciated. |
