ashes from burning...

| first, I have no idea where to post this, hope it was ok to ask it here... we have a bit of property and have been clearing, raking, took down a dead tree, etc.. and have burned it all. We now have a pile of ashes we do not know what to do with, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.. |

| The best thing is to add it to a compost pile. If you don't have a compost pile, you can scatter cooled ashes lightly over a lawn or garden. |
