Splitting Parilla Magilla

| Has anyone ever had success splitting a parilla magilla? We planted a smaller plant this spring but it has now started to take over its area. We would like to split it if possible.
Anyone have any success at this? |

| I have a good gardening friend who started with one Magilla and took numerous cuttings--they root very well, and she likes growing plants from cuttings and goes to plant sales and sells things. She had dozens in very short order, so you could cut yours back as sharply as you wish, give cuttings to friends, grow a border, whatever you wish. If you're not used to taking cuttings I think this would be an excellent place to start. |
