Anyone familiar with nurseries in the Hammond area?

| I've been looking for ferns for my front porch. My neighbor bought ferns from a nursery that is run by a woman on the land around her house, in Hammond. She sells a special variety of ferns that is less finicky and more cold resistant that typical boston ferns. That is all the specifics I know. Anyone have any cluse who/ where this might be? |

| Are you sure it's Hammond? Perhaps Gayle Road Nursery in Ponchatoula? The nursery and greenhouses are behind her house. She has greenhouses full of ferns, all very reasonably priced. Betty |

In Hammond, you may be referring to Ingrid Graham of Graham's Nursery on east Pleasant Ridge Road. 345-6108.

| McClendon's on Hwy 22 east of Ponchatoula or Green Thumb on Hwy 22 west of Ponchatoula are my favorites. McClendon's has a better selection but is a little pricier. |
