I shop alot at Lauderdale County Farm Supply in Meridian. They have an excellent selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals, especially in the springtime. They are just off I-20 at the second Meridian exit (coming from Jackson). (You didn't say where in Central Mississippi you are.)
When it comes to Daylilies, you would do well to find a local daylily farm. Lots of these people have hundreds, even thousands, of varieties, and it's a great treat to visit them in peak season (May/June) You can find their places on the AHS society web site. Echinacea will bloom from seed the very first year, and you can find seed for it at Wal Mart in the early spring. I have never seen brunnera for sale in our area. I bought some in Indiana one year and it didnt' make it, but I have a new shade area now and will try it again, if I ever find it. It is truly an exquisite plant. It appears to need quite deep shade and absolutely consistent moisture to withstand our summers. Lily of the valley....if I were you, I would watch my nieghborhood for someone who has a nice clump of it and offer to buy or trade for a piece. The locally grown ones have alot better chance of getting established.
