There must be many of you plagued by these guys! Well, include me on that list. What do you do to combat these critters? Help!

Plagued is the word. I've tried repellants, traps, you name it. The only thing that works in a shotgun and they seem to have super hearing. My husband sits outside till after mightnight and just as soon as he gives up and comes to bed, they start their nightly rampage.
The good news is since it started raining last month, I've only seen signs of them one time. They're just like all critters. They're looking for access to food and our irrigated yard was easier to dig than the bone dry woods.
Sorry. You have my sympathy.

Simple, no sleep lost. Go to Wal Mart. Get an outside light motion detector. Hook up in the yard. Instead of a light, hook up an extention to your bedside with a radio instead of a light. When the radio plays, get up, get shot gun and shoot. Killed 22 last summer. Up to 15 now. Works perfect. Hope it helps. Larry

I'm another stricken armadillo victim.. Only iit's a rent house so nobody is there. Looks like a bad golfer got ahold of my yard.. I have a live trap but what would I use for bait? I've heard of flea and tick bombs thrown down the hole but wondered if anybody ever used anything that realy worked except a shotgun...
I'd love the shotgun idea after seeing the critters tearing up the lawn but won;t be around plus don't want to get arrested..
