Tropical plants in odd places! Kim Phat's shop

next to Pho Tao Bay on the Westbank Expressway.
They have Longan and other stuff in pots, also nonastringent persimmons. Also big plumeria.
And to those of you who keep bugging me about where I got my big Asian cone hat, Hong Kong Market on Behrman Hwy. has those (plus a lot of odd fruit with seeds for growing fun.)

phil,
I saw plumeria at stokes tropicals near Jeanerette the other day. They were having a sidewalk sale and had India and some others marked down. They smelled heavenly.

Does anyone know of asian supermarkets near New Iberia or any surrounding areas? I want to find some cardamon or turmeric or passionfruits that I can use to grow plants...
