| I have the yellow day lilies and I am wondering IF anybody has ever transplanted them at this time of the year before? They really really needed to be transplanted this spring but I was sick all summer long and couldn't do it. The ground needs to be tilled up and redone where they are planted and then mulched after I transplant them. But anyway just wondering IF I can do this now? They are along our walkway so I have bunches. I'd like to put some back along it as well as out by the road where I have our land lined in azaleas. I'd like to plant a row of the yellow day lilies in front of them. |

| Yes you can divide and transplant now. Really daylillies can be done most anytime. But fall is a great time for many perennials to be divided. In fact I just did a bunch of my daylillies too. |
