Pecan Trees

Posted by kbandme (My Page) on

I bought property that has three large pecan trees. They were damaged some by our latest hurricane. What can I do to help them this winter? They had very fen nuts and the nuts they had
were empty or black inside.

RE: Pecan Trees

Gustav ruined my pecan crop this year. I have two very large trees, the winds blew off the pecans which weren't ready yet. I'm no expert, but I use the big jobes tree spikes to fertilize every year. Barring hurricanes, I usually get far more pecans than I can use.
