Pink Turtle Beans

I have seeds for this and I'm trying to decide if they're worth growing. I can't find any information about them. I'm guessing they're grown for the dried bean, rather than the pod. I'm also guessing the pods aren't pink, only the dried seed is pink. Is the seed color the only attraction of this bean?

I don't have a lot of interest in growing a bush bean that's readily available at the grocery store, even if it is pink. Or am I wrong and will hate myself 2 days after I give it away?

Can you show us a picture of them? Did you get them from a trade or did you buy them as such? You could grow a sample, 3 or 4 beans, see what they produce. This way you won't be wasting a lot of time and space on them.

They look like regular black turtle beans but they're a light tan. Maybe they were pink when they were fresh. I received them 4 years ago in a trade.

I guess I'll have to plant a few out and see. At least to refresh the seed. Can't waste seed. ;)
