I direct sowed carrots, spinach, lettuce and sugar snap peas 7 days ago, SE Texas. After reading info for my area, it said it was time, so I did. Nothing has come up, at all. The temps have still been in the mid 30s, is that the issue? I got curious and went rooting in the soil for the peas and only found 1 pea, I'm using SFG so I know exactly where I planted them and should've been able to find them easily. I'm wondering if the birds got to them? I'm having fantastic success with the seedlings I started inside but zero outside. Opinions, suggestions, should I resow with a cover? I'm pretty new at all of this so I'm totally open to suggestions. Thanks!
