This one caught my eye in the Sand Hill catalog. Does anyone here know anything about it?

Hi Gary, I'm not familiar with this one but after reading Sandhill's description it reminded me of another bean I've only seen a picture of, 'Corallo Romanesco' picture of the seed in the link below, could be the same bean or perhaps related?

Annette, I did review the list of beans and I noticed they had Thorogreen as a Pole. All of mine have been Bush. Anyway I enjoyed the list.

Annette,

The Corallo Romanesco seeds look spot on to my pack of Aunt Mary's Meat.

I hope you read the typo in Sand Hill...whitest should be widest.

The description of AMM reminds me a bit of Supermarconi Cuneo. SC is the widest bean I've ever seen. It sometimes gets to 1 3/8" wide. Seed from those extremely wide pods do not look like seeds from the normal wide pods. The seeds from the x-wide pods also sometimes split like the AMM & CM.

I'll be trialing AMM alongside SC to see if they are different. Now, to go off hunting down some CM. :)

Slippery slope?

Yeah, but why do I have the feeling like I'm a ski jumper, in mid-air, that just lost a binding?

Here's another one that might be related, Conti’s Marconi Rampicante Romano Bean. I know I'm bad LOL. Came across this when looking for something else.

Yes, you are bad. But, maybe I can track this one down.
Corallo Romanesco has been, so far, elusive. :(
