Has anybody tried Golden Sweets snow peas? Are they stringless?

Here is a link that might be useful: Golden Sweet

I've grown them for several years. They are a typical snowpea that has to be picked before the seed swell. At that stage, most peas are stringless. Yakumo Giant is another good snowpea that you might want to grow.

Have you also grown Sugar Sprint by any chance? I was also considering growing those. While they're not snow peas per se, they look like they could be used interchangeably.

Sugar Sprint is a snap pea. If you want to grow a snap pea, they are good for snacking, salads, and stir fry.

If you want a trio of good snow peas, find Shiraz, Yakumo Giant, and Golden Sweet. That will give you a purple snow pea, a large green snow pea, and a golden snow pea.

Thanks fusion....Like any good indecisive gardener, I just went ahead and ordered both. hahaha So we shall see which are better. What usually happens is I'll like them both and probably add a third choice next year too.
