It's hard to tell color on the web, but they look a lot like the Black Jungle Butter Beans that a bunch of folks here are growing courtesy of Harry (aka Flintknapper) on this group. Here's a photo I took this year of beans in my garden. I tried to color-correct - the beans are laid out on a bamboo cutting board - light golden brown.

They do look like my Black Jungle Butter Bean seed, dried mine measure 5/8". Picture taken with flash on.

Based on the shape and size of the beans in your photo I think that I do have a butter bean. Mine seem a little lighter colored and don't have such pronounced veining.

Weird - looks like my photo went poof when I edited my post yesterday - here it is again. :)

Here are photos of the plants, growing like crazy in Western Massachusetts.

Second photo. I anticipate many butter bean dinners in the coming year.
