sugar snaps where cukes will be grown later

i'm thinking about planting my early sugar snaps on the trellis where i will later plant my cukes... are there any adverse effects of this? i am thinking if anything the nitrogen fixing bacteria from the peas will benefit the area where the cukes will be... this will be in a raised bed. later on spinach, tomato, squash, radish, oregano will be in the close vicinity - also there is catmint and lemon balm growing as perennials.
thoughts?
