Mr Big Peas

Has anyone ever grown these? I just got my packets of seed, and on the back it says to plant these outside after all danger of frost is past. All my other peas say 'as soon as the soil can be worked'. Why the difference?
Thanks,
Judith

RE: Mr Big Peas

Mr. Big is just a large podded dwarf English pea. Planting instructions should be the same as for any wrinkled seed english pea ie as soon as the ground can be worked. Fairly productive, but as good as Green Arrow.

Mr. Big with Early Alaska for comparison Mr Big 4

Farmerdilla - wow, they ARE huge. I grew Alaska and knight last year - what a difference! I will plant them at the same time as my other peas. Thanks so much.
