I am in Largo Florida very near the sea. My little gardener (he's 9 and has a very nice garden going) wants to grow lima beans and for fun something cool like the red noodle bean. I'd like something that is successful in our heat and humidity and something that is prolific, tasty, and pretty. Don't want much - do I?! :) So first, what do you guys think of the red noodle bean (it's a yard long bean). And what about the limaas in our area? We'd like a small bean variety and a large bean variety. Nick likes that they have 'potatoes' inside them and would have them for dinner every night if he could.
