| I have been reading on the web about heirloom beans in Italy where apparently they take beans extremely seriously. I'm particularly intrigued by sarconi beans. If you're interested take a look at this website - www.fagiolidisarconi.it/ - and beans with names like panzaredda, nasieddu, san michele rosso, tabacchino, muna chedda, etc. (If you click the little British flag icon you get the site in English.) I'm wondering if anyone has heard of these beans and knows how to get them.

| To order some of these beans here is a site: http://www.buonitalia.com/index.cfm?act=catalog.cfm&Submit=Search&brow se=&MenuGroup=Home&Description=bean It appears they use the same pictures for the beans as your site in Italy, wonder if there is an association there. Note, they are being sold as eating beans. Dean |
