Can someone direct me to a site where ideal soil temperatures are given for planting vegetable seeds?--dou

around here we have a sure fire way to tell when the soil is up to temp. drive down country roads and look at the old women fishing in ditch banks and on lake banks. if they are sitting directly on the ground, then the soil is warm enough. if they are still sitting on buckets, then it is too cold!
