Is it new, or have I somehow missed this bean forum before?! I'm in a hurry now, but I'm very psyched to read the things I have so far. I've stocked up my pantry with legumes and have been cooking them South Indian style. And I LOVE fresh shell beans (and peas)-- I'm excited to take a closer look at the recipes some of you have posted, and learn about the different varieties of pole shell beans to grow! This is going to be my passion for a while now!

btw, this green underlined link to ads is also new to me -- and it's annoying!

I joined this forum in 09 myself. But I have come across with threads
that had been started as far back as 2004, maybe earlier.
I am glad to have found this forum. I have learned a great deal and
I also enjoy sharing, my ideas, experience and knowledge with others.
Internet is great when it comes to learning and getting information.

The Beans, Peas and Other Legumes Forum (otherwise known as the Bean Forum) was initiated in June of 2006. It is a place to discuss a great group of vegetables with some wonderful, dedicated gardeners participating.
