Safe bug repellent for beans?

Posted by james_garfield central TX (My Page) on

Weather in Central TX is fantastic. Got a good start to this year's garden and my green beans are just rocketing. But the bugs are attacking the leaves. What kind of 'safe' bug repellent can I make and use? I'm sure this topic has been hashed over many times, so please forgive and redirect me as necessary.

I won't post a link, rather would suggest getting some neem oil and use according to the directions. It is made from the neem tree and is an organically accepted way of preventing bugs and fungi.

OK neem oil it is, thanks. Actually I already use that for the peach trees, so I will read the label and apply it for the green beans. See, I knew there would be good info here, thanks.
