Bush Beans on a Very Small Steep Hill?

Posted by dowbright z6 in Missouri (My Page) on

The edge of our garden adjacent to the driveway next door is rather steep, but only 4 feet long. Not straight up-and down! But--definitely hill-like.

What do you think would happen to bush beans planted on that kind of "lean?"

It gets a lot of sun--and I need the space!

If not beans--other suggestions?

Thanks!

Paula

As long as you can control soil erosion, the slope should be a problem. Bush beans will grow on the side of a hill that a mule can't walk up.
