So I finally made my way to the researcher's office at the KY museum and after we looked through a couple books I finally found the actual address to the home of one Miss Sarah (Sadie) F. Price. I always knew she once lived on 11th street in Bowling Green (Where I live) but I never had the exact address. So, today I drove over and took a picture.

I know...I am a geek....but she made many contributions to the plant world and several species are even named after her. This is a piece of our town's history, and my Master's Thesis was on the Apios priceana (named after her) so this made me giddy! LOL

What fun!

I once set out to find the house of Nero Wolf, Rex Stout's fictional detective. Turns out the address was fictional too. The street number would have located the house somewhere in the Hudson River.

The only house I have searched out was for Mozart, which was by chance located next to a great bakery, yum.
