Problems with pole beans

Thanks for anyone's help in advance. These beans have been doing well for the past couple weeks. Tonight when I came home from work the leaves have suddenly started wilting, almost to a mushy consistency. So far it seems to have only affected the cotyledon but I can see early signs in the younger leaves and fear this will go rampid. I'm hoping this is a simple fix such as over watering and not a soil condition. Any advise or wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

The 3rd photo didn't come through, but It seems more like some sort of physical damage, not a disease. Is there any chance the plant was hit with cold water in the middle of the day? (Like those big fat raindrops you get sometimes when a Spring shower starts while the sun is still shining?) In the 1st photo it also looks like your soil is plenty moist. I wouldn't add water for a few days.

Thanks for your thoughts. I live on the coast and the wind has been brutal for the past 4-5 days. We also had a front blow through Friday and yes there was some cold rain. Ill certainly let my soil dry out and water more sparsely. Thank you again. I appreciate the thoughts.
