Ditto, only mine haven't even begun to blossom yet. The plants are a nice size, like 6-12 inches tall. Luckily I am only planting flowers after the peas, so I can wait for a little longer, but I was doing this as a test run to see if was feasable to do an aearly pea crop in the same bed I was planning on doing tomatoes or peppers etc...

Sorry that no one has answered your question, Tombug. I keep detailed records on my beans, but I haven't found a record of flower-to-pod for my peas.

However, there should be no need to sacrifice the peas. Just plant your summer crop closely adjacent, or between the rows. Conditions may not be ideal due to shading, but the roots will get established. When you harvest the peas, cut the vines off at the ground, leaving the roots of the peas in the ground. The nodules on the roots of the peas will decay, and the nitrogen in them will be released. This should give a boost to whatever is planted nearby.

I'm not-so-patiently waiting for my 4' high snow pea plants to blossom! I'm finally seeing 1 blossom today. Its supposed to be in the 90's for about a week, and I fear that will slow them down too. Thankfully, it will cool down after that, so hopefully I'll still get some peas. They are growing like gangbusters for the first time in years, so I'm really hoping I get some peas!

My snaps are blooming and starting to produce. I'd say a week or so, give or take.
