Quart pots for single bean plants

I have a bunch of beans started in the house and need to me moved out side. I wanted to space them along my fence so they could grow up it. HOwever I dont have bed along that fence line but I can run part of my drip system out to the pots. I have a bunch of quart nursery pots, Can use those if its just a single bean plant per pot?

I take it, Mel, that you are talking about pole beans? Pole beans have a large root system; a one quart pot would be much too small to hold them permanently. I would recommend at least a one gallon container, and even then you will get considerable stunting. If the pots have holes in the bottom & can send roots into the soil beneath, they might do OK.
