A cow pea for green manure

Have any of you planted a variety of cow peas that want to vine a lot. Like Red Ripper. I have herd that Georgia Long will really vine. I have Iron Clay and a few Red Ripper and Georgia Long seed . I wont to see if cowpeas will grow as much forage as velvet beans. I have several varieties of velvet beans. Red

cheapest and easiest is to buy some black eye peas at the store and plant them for green manure.

If you want a heavy vining pea, any of the climbing types will work.
