Is this disease or damage from temps or insecticidal soap? If disease, will it spread to neighboring climbing snap peas?

It is just a bit cold for beans yet. So is for squashes...

Cabbages having the best time, plus onions, garlics, peas...lettuce... tomatoes are The-middle-of-the-roaders.

Jemsister, How have the beans progressed? Did they live?

Unroll the leaf and see if there was a caterpillar web in there. You might see its black droppings. If so, and it's gone, the plant will just continue to grow. You can snap off the offending leaves.
