Slow growth in beans

Hi all,

First time poster and gardener here. I have planted ome mystery beans that various people gave me. They grew an inch or so and stopped over 2 weeks ago. The plants are very healthy but growth has plateaued. The ones I can identify are azuki beans and cranberry beans. I planted them three weeks ago after sprouting them to about 6 inch tall seedlings. The soil has been tilled, is well watered, gets good drainage, gets full sun, and has matured compost in it. I have also added in a general all purpose inoculant to the root area of the seedlings when I transplanted them to the garden. The soil pH is about 6.8 with a composition of 10% organic material, 40% sand, 20% silt, and 30% clay. I also applied some diatomaceous earth to the area for pest control.

Is the inoculant slowing down their growth? Has this happened to anyone before? What is happening? (I haven't dug the plants up and checked for nodes yet.)
