Cluster beans just won't grow?

Hi,

I am trying to grow cluster beans--but they just do not want to grow!! I have good Miracle-grow soil and good temps now.

Seeds germinate but just stays like that for ever. This is my second season trying this but no success.

Any suggestions/feedback?

Anna, I have never heard of cluster beans, so found some pics. According to Wikipedia cluster beans, Cyamopsis tetragonolobus, are mostly grown in India, sown in July and harvested in October.

Perhaps your soil has not yet warmed enough to suit these fascinating-looking beans?

I had similar experiences when i tried to grow them in the 70's. They won't grow past the 1-2 inch size.After that experience, I gave up, and until now never bothered. Any help will be much appreciated.
