I'm growing snow pea pods in a container outside. Could I have more than one pea plant in it? It's a large container, not like a little flower pot.

I have never grown peas in a container. But when I grow them in the ground, I space them closely. If I were to grow peas in a container I certainly would plant more than one. I would plant a seed every four inches all over the container. I think they won't mind that and you will get a more worthwhile yield. If this is a bad idea, someone please straighten me out. Jim

I was going to suggest 4 square inches per plant, too. Also, try to keep the pot cool, maybe shade it from the sun or put it inside another pot, or use a white pot. Peas like it cool. A black pot in the sun might make them unhappy.
