I grow butter beans every year and love them the best from bush to running. This year they had some beans called Thorogreen butter beans which are suppose to be tiny and very good to eat. I never heard of these before but the plants are loaded with them and was wondering since they are suppose to be tiny, how tiny before picking. Do I wait till they fill out alot because there are some when the light shines thru them look ready to pick but they are not quite filled out fat wise. Anyone familiar with this variety?
