Soil in Green Bean Container 'Sunk'

I guess I didn't push enough air out at planting and now the soil in my green bean container has "sunk" quite a bit. Is it okay to add more potting soil, or will raising the soil line cause rot problems for the green beans? I know that doing this with some plants can cause crown rot but I don't see any crowns on these bean plants.

It's difficult to assess the situation from that description. However, I doubt that adding some soil will create a problem.
