I had a great day today! I went to my favorite farm stand and ran into the owner. After talking to him for a while, he told me to wait there, and that he'd give me a few of his pea seeds. Imagine my surprise when he came out with a gigantic coffee can! I thought I'd be lucky to get 20 seeds, and I ended up with several hundred of two different varieties. Being ridiculously addicted to peas, as I am, this was the nicest thing I've encountered in a long, long time. I'm still smiling about it!
