I planted bush blue lake beans and they are vining everywhere. Why? Is this normal?

RE: bean help

Sometime bush beans will send up short bloom spikes, but if Blue Lake is actually vining, you got the pole type.

RE: bean help

I'm having the same issue with some of my Pencil Pod wax beans. Some of them have a flower spike that's probably 3-4 feet long and they are twining around my hardneck garlic that's planted next to them.
