Pull fava plants?

I planted some fava beans in mid-April. They sprouted quickly and flowered nicely in June. However, just as they were all flowering, we got a heat wave (a week in the 90s), and although the weather has moderated since, it looks like few of the flowers have produced pods. The weather for the next couple of months will likely be in the 80s.

Will they get a second flush of flowers, or should I pull all the plants? Should I stagger planting next year, so that they're not all flowering at once? Should I plant again in August for a fall crop?

I also wonder if I can plant again now for a fall crop. I just pulled mine.
