inoculant for man-made soil?

Hello,

Just prepared two very large raised beds at my new home. I was wondering, generally speaking people say bean inoculant is not necessary in most places because the microbes that this adds are naturally found in soil. But my beds are full of man-made soil made from sand etc. plus a good amount of compost. Do you think inoculant is called for in this case?

I don't like to fiddle with my soil more than necessary and like to keep costs down, so I don't want to purchase this stuff unless really necessary. What do you all think?
