bug damage to bush beans

There is a bug eating the leaves of my bush bean plants. It looks similar to a ladybug, but is a little smaller and is kind orange-yellow with black stripes. Anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?

Mexican bean beetles. You can spray for them. Eventually your plants will grow enough so the damage isn't significant. I try to pick/squash them daily when the seedlings come up until they're big enough to withstand them. Dropping them into soapy water will kill them. You just need to get the hand of getting underneath them before they drop off the leave and hide, as they like to do.
