| Does anyone know what type of animal eats green bean plants? All of my plants are down to just the stem. Last year & this year I've caught a glimpse of something small - say about the length of a hot dog - and black. It moves too fast for me to get a good look at it. I'm trying to figure out what it is so next year we can find ways to keep it out! Thanks for your help. |

| It could be one of several kinds of rodents. I've lost three or for plantings (64 feet each) of pole beans, this summer, just because of a couple rabbits. I finally broke out the 20 gauge and got rid of them. Ground hogs are also bad about eating beans. Your critter could be something on the order of a vole. George |
