First year growing green beans, harvest over

First year growing green beans. I planted Empress bush bean. My

harvest was over about a week and half ago They tasted good to me.

Of course I had no other green bean to compare them to. After

browsing in and out of this forum. I decided to plant Rattlesnake,

Kentucky Wonder(pole), Pencil Pod Black Wax(yellow) hope it's good,

I just picked it from Heirloom Seeds, Empress bush again, Blue Lake and

maybe Fortex.

You've got plenty of time for another crop of bush beans if you want to try some other bush varieties. Maybe enough time for pole beans -- I'm not sure of that.

I'm about to put in my second crop of Royal Burgundy and Dragon Langerie.

Thanks. I'll plant some tomorrow. I'll plant some more empress,s since
that's all I have right now.
