| I am growing Emerite and Fortex pole beans and am wondering if I should cut the tips off when they get to the top of my 6 foot trellis? It seems like I have heard this will encourage more side shoots to grow.
Thanks, Brett |

| The majority of bean blossoms occur on the main runners, so I don't trim mine. They will droop over, and eventually climb back up. Depending upon how closely the beans were planted, it might get a little crowded on top, especially toward the end of the season... but you'll get a lot of beans up there. |
