| A friend gave my husband a bag of green beans today. They look rather plump to me, and I don't want to waste time cleaning, trimming, cooking them if they're no good to eat.
Here's a photo - what do you think?

| Give it a try as long as the pods are brittle enough to snap. Lots of folks like beany beans, especially cooked in the traditional southern style. |

| Thank you, farmerdilla. :) What is the traditional southern style of cooking green beans? I like to toss whole beans with olive oil and chopped garlic then bake for a few minutes. ~JoAnn |
