Hello all,

This time of year I usually pull out my long bean plants and get ready for lettuce. DH got out the weed whacker and started to clean around the raised bed when he noticed a huge flush of new blooms. This is the first time this has happened to me with long beans. I grow Orient Wonder and they are SUPER prolific but in past have only had two flushes of blooms. We had a 4-5 day period of low temps this past week with night in 50's and days just getting to about 65 degrees F. We also have darkness coming in at about 7:30PM instead of 9PM. Anyone ever have this happen with their long beans - or any bean for that matter. If this is unusual I plan to save some of this third flush seed to see if I can get this to happen again next year.
