will peas grow in soil that is becoming more acidic

Hi!

I am preparing a new bed to plant blueberries in the spring. I'd like to plant peas now in the same bed. My thought is to use the peas as a cover crop to help prepare the soil for the blueberry bed. Since we love peas so much and don't have much space to plant peas elsewhere in the garden we thought we'd plant peas instead of some of the other cover crops. My concern is that I'm adding iron sulfate and garden sulfur to the soil to lower the acidity. Will the peas still grown? Should we expect a pea harvest?

This is a duplicate post the the fruit and orchards forum.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Diane
