I've looked a lot of different places for interesting sounding beans, Sand Hill Preservation Center has an intriguing list of beans, some I want to try if I have enough years left in me, Heritage Harvest Seed ( will ship to the U.S.) has an extensive list, with good descriptions and pics. I'm sure others will pipe in with more sources.

I've wanted to buy one of everything from them for years.

Thank you Annette, I forgot about Sandhill. I have never
ordered from them. They do have some interesting varieties.
The Aunt VI you sent me did very well this year and very
tasty...

Next year I want to grow more varieties. Not a lot of each, but
a little of each to see how they taste, and how they handle
the humid heat.

So far I have Molly Frazier Cut Short, Long Bean Taiwan Black
Seeded, Purple Podded Pole, & Chinese Red Noodle.
Rattlesnake is coming back and Roma II bush bean.
