Are we talking dry seed or shelly stage? Sometimes there is a difference in color.

I think I solved the mystery watched the little ones they get overly pick happy and some of them were not at the dry stage. They were down there picking willy nilly .Good thing they were only here for a few hours..

Does this mean the ones picked prematurely had white seeds while the more mature seeds had some color? Are you saying all the purple podded beans are Trionfo Violetto?

Yes they are Trionfo Violetto and the immature seeds are white they are turning a more pinky beige as they dry..
