Do pole beans (Fortex) take a break?

I always thought pole beans, once they started producing, continued nonstop till frost. But my Fortex has been in a stall for the past couple of weeks. The Kentucky Wonders are still producing, but they started later than Fortex.

Your wisdom is appreciated.

RE: Do pole beans (Fortex) take a break?

In my experience, "Fortex" doesn't have the concentrated flushes - and breaks between - that I've experienced with most pole snap beans. They would slow down when putting out new growth, but never stopped completely. As with all beans, that depends on whether they are kept well picked & watered.
