RE: Snap bean recipes

I don't have any real recipes...I just add some water or meat stock to a pan and cook until tender...add a little salt somewhere along the line....I love to flavor them with bacon or bacon grease but my cholesterol is always out of site and I do drugs for it so I cannot do the bacon grease thing any more..... I stir fry them in a little olive oil with a few cloves of garlic..yum that's my favorite...

RE: Snap bean recipes

ruthieg_tx,

Your recipe is similar to mine except I add tomatoes and through in some Italian spice and black pepper. This is my attempt of copying a recipe of beans I ate once on a island in Greece, they were so good.

Note: I have switched to Turkey bacon for most things including BLTs and I have gotten used to it and it is low in Cholesterol! It is not the same flavor, but I can eat it. Just a thought.

thanks,
Dean
