I'm surprised no one wrote a response yet. I guess it is because they are not the regular crops people try to grow indoors. I do know from my little nephew bringing a bean home to plant and it was way to early to put outside that beans can grow quite well with no fertilizer. I remember being asked what to do to slow down the growth because it was getting too big too fast! So I don't think you need to do much of anything : )
I think you need to remember to pet/gently shake your plants every day to simulate wind. People always want to know what I do to my tomato seedlings to make them grow so nice, and that is all I do.

I have 10 pea plants indoors this winter. I started them in pots outdoors in September, and brought them in December 5th when we were beginning to have really cold temperatures. The largest was only 2 feet tall, due to the cold nights and less sunlight. The pots had had tomatoes in them that had developed blight. They had to be pulled at the end of August and I decided to use the pots and soil and wondered how peas would do since tomato blight fungus probably would not harm them. The soil was well put together ,compost, peat moss, wood chips, with added fertilizer, etc., so when I planted the peas I believe it was a very good growing medium.
I have not given them any special care, just watered them, and placed them in a west facing window. I wondered how they would do in a low light area, especially in the winter. Well, they quickly grew a foot when I brought them in, up to 3 feet tall where they are now, probably because of the warmth of the house. They are in blossom and small pods are beginning to appear. I'm surprised they are doing this well. I had expected nothing and anything that I get will be a bonus. I thought the low light would kill them. They are leaning in the direction of the sun, but there seems to be enough light to keep them going. We'll see in the next month whether they will continue to develop. We've gained 10 minutes of evening sun so far and will continue to have more as January goes on. Perhaps this will help. I hope your peas and beans are doing well !
